Recipe
Ingredients:
1 loaf of rye bread
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of water
1 cup of cranberry jam
2 cups of whipped cream
1/2 cup of chopped nuts
Instructions:
Slice the rye bread thinly and dry it out in the oven at a low temperature until it's crispy.
Once the bread is crispy, grind it in a food processor until it becomes like crumbs.
In a saucepan, dissolve the sugar in water over medium heat until it becomes a syrup.
Mix the syrup with the rye bread crumbs and let it cool.
In a serving dish, create a layer of the rye bread mixture.
Spread a layer of cranberry jam over the bread mixture.
Add a layer of whipped cream over the jam.
Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of whipped cream on top.
Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the top layer of whipped cream.
Let the dessert sit in the fridge for a few hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
