Räkmacka is a traditional Swedish dish, often served as a light meal or appetizer. It is essentially an open-faced sandwich, typically featuring a thick slice of bread topped with mayonnaise or sour cream, lettuce, boiled eggs, fresh dill, and a generous serving of peeled shrimps. The dish is a staple in Swedish cafés and restaurants and is often accompanied by a slice of lemon for added flavor. The name "Räkmacka" is derived from the Swedish words for shrimp ("räka") and sandwich ("macka").
