Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of grated coconut

  • 3 red onions

  • 2 dried red chilies

  • 2 fresh green chilies

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1 teaspoon of Maldive fish flakes

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 1 teaspoon of sugar

  • 1 lime


Instructions:

  1. Chop the red onions, dried red chilies, fresh green chilies, and garlic finely.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the chopped ingredients with the grated coconut, Maldive fish flakes, salt, and sugar.

  3. Using your hands, mix the ingredients together until well combined.

  4. Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture and mix again.

  5. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.

  6. Serve immediately with rice or bread, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
