pique-macho
Next Dish: Sishwala
Pique Macho is a traditional Bolivian dish typically composed of bite-sized pieces of beef, sausage, and hot dog, mixed with French fries. The dish is garnished with boiled eggs, cheese, tomatoes, onions, and locoto peppers for heat. It is often accompanied by beer and is considered a heavy meal, traditionally served late in the evening. The name "Pique Macho" is said to challenge the diner's machismo, as it is a spicy and substantial dish.
