karbonade

Next Dish: Liboké

Karbonāde is a traditional Lithuanian dish, usually made from pork or veal cutlets, which are pounded thin, seasoned, and then breaded and pan-fried. The name is derived from the French word "carbonade", referring to a kind of stew. However, the Lithuanian dish does not contain any stewing elements. It is often served with potatoes and a variety of sauces or condiments.
