Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 large Onions (Kanda)

  • 2 Green Chillies

  • 1 tablespoon Oil

  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds

  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

  • Salt to taste

  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder

  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice

  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Coriander Leaves, finely chopped


Instructions:

  1. Peel the onions and slice them thinly.

  2. Chop the green chillies finely.

  3. Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds. Let them crackle.

  4. Add the sliced onions and green chillies to the pan. Sauté on medium heat until the onions turn translucent.

  5. Add the turmeric powder, salt, and red chilli powder. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

  6. Turn off the heat and add the lemon juice. Mix well.

  7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving. Enjoy your Kanda with roti or as a side dish.
