gado-gado

Next Dish: Canelons

Gado-Gado is a traditional Indonesian salad, widely sold by street vendors and restaurants across the country. It consists of a variety of blanched or steamed vegetables, hard-boiled eggs, fried tofu, and tempeh, served with a peanut sauce dressing. Sometimes, it is also accompanied by krupuk (Indonesian crackers) and rice. The dish is often consumed on its own as a main meal, but can also be served as a side dish.
