The Full English Breakfast, often simply referred to as a "Full English", is a traditional British dish that is typically served at breakfast. The meal usually includes bacon, sausages, eggs, black pudding, baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast, and a beverage such as tea or coffee. Recipe
Ingredients:
4 sausages
4 rashers of bacon
4 eggs
4 slices of black pudding
2 tomatoes, halved
1 cup of button mushrooms
2 cups of baked beans
4 slices of bread
Butter for spreading
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your grill to a medium heat.
Place the sausages and bacon onto a baking tray and grill for 10 minutes, turning occasionally.
After 10 minutes, add the black pudding slices and tomato halves to the tray. Grill for an additional 5 minutes, turning the black pudding once.
Meanwhile, heat a little oil in a frying pan and add the mushrooms. Fry until golden brown.
In another pan, heat the baked beans over a low heat, stirring occasionally.
In a separate pan, fry the eggs to your liking.
Toast the bread and spread with butter.
Arrange the cooked sausages, bacon, black pudding, tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans and fried eggs onto four plates. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve the full English breakfast immediately with the buttered toast on the side.
