Ingredients:
6 large potatoes
1 medium onion
1 egg
4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Vegetable oil for frying
Sour cream for serving
Instructions:
Peel and grate the potatoes and onion on a fine grater.
Put the grated potatoes and onion into a sieve and press out all the juice.
Place the drained potato and onion mixture into a bowl, add the egg, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Drop spoonfuls of the potato mixture into the pan and flatten with the back of a spoon.
Fry the pancakes until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
Remove the pancakes from the pan and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with sour cream.
