Next Dish: Matapa
Churros are a type of fried-dough pastry, predominantly choux, originating from Spain. The dough is piped through a star-shaped nozzle and deep-fried until golden brown. Churros are often dusted with granulated sugar and served with a side of hot chocolate for dipping. They are popular in Spain, Latin America, France, Portugal, the United States, and Spanish-speaking Caribbean islands.
