US citizens require a visa to enter Jordan. Visas can be obtained upon arrival at the airport or at most border crossings. The cost is 40 Jordanian Dinars (approximately 56 USD). Alternatively, visas can be obtained from a Jordanian embassy or consulate prior to travel.
